Are you ten years or older and would you like to talk to someone regularly? Someone who comes to your home every week and thinks with you about school, friends or other things that you find important? Then sign up for our mentor project KANS!

You will then be assigned a home mentor for a year. Someone who can help you discover what you are good at and what you like. The mentor can also support you in planning homework and other things at school. You will discuss the learning goals together. Your mentor will meet with you every week. This can be at home, at school or, for example, in the library.

Participating in KANS is free and possible if you live in: Leiden, Leiderdorp, Katwijk, Oegstgeest or Zoeterwoude. In Oegstgeest, JES works together with the Okidoo foundation and the mentor program is called Okidoo+/KANS.
